Kadalamuttai





Ingredients

          Roasted  skinless peanuts  : 1 Cup (crush them coarsely)
          White sugar : 3/4 Cup


Method:


 In a heavy bottomed pan, melt the sugar without adding water. It will turn dark brown in color. As soon as the sugar melts, turn off the flame and add the crushed peanuts. Mix well quickly so that the peanuts are coated with caramelized sugar.
Immediately, pour this over a greased plate/parchment paper, roll it into 1/4" thickness using a rolling pin and mark into desired shapes. Let it cool completely. Break into pieces.
